Welcome to Intentional Paths!
- Are you juggling family, school, work, and a side business all at the same time?
- Are you looking to find ways to life’s demands with your ambitions?
- Are you working hard to try to get a little ahead in life?
- Are you trying to start, run, or grow your own entrepreneurial venture?
- Are you trying to gain a little more freedom by learning to be an entrepreneur?
If so, I’m glad you are joining me on this journey. We’ve got a lot in common.
I’ve been walking down the path of creating personal success through entrepreneurship for many years. I know what it’s like to struggle to find balance and freedom. I know what it’s like to worry about the future, wonder about my potential, work hard all day, and give up sleep to pursue a dream.
I live it.
I can help you make it work too.
Each day, I try to take one step forward, make a little progress, and become a little better. I’m not perfect. I’ve learned a tremendous amount, but I’ve still got a lot to learn. I’ve had my fair share of failures and mishaps, but I’ve also had many successes. Along the way, I’ve developed systems and approaches that have completely changed the game for me. And I’m having fun doing it.
Much of what I’ve learned can help you.
I believe that each of us can choose and create a path to our success. I’ve helped hundreds of other people get that edge they need to turn their dreams into reality. It’s not magic. It’s a process of change, growth, and action. You can do it too.
A little background about me
I have strong interests in personal wellness, family, and entrepreneurship. My most important roles are as a husband and father. I’ve had the good fortune to gain career experiences in many settings, including startups, small companies, a big law firm, universities, and my own pursuits. Each step has been a good part of my path, and has contributed to my development. Along the way, I’ve developed a knack for helping people and businesses find and create value.
I’m a teacher at heart, but a teacher who believes in learning by doing. It’s been said that those who can, do. Let me add that, those who care, teach. Teaching and doing are not mutually exclusive. I count myself blessed to do both. I get to work with students at the University of Michigan, where I am a director at the Center for Entrepreneurship That’s a ton of fun, and truly an enviable place to be. (Disclaimer: Views here are my own).
I enjoy public speaking, and might have a message you would enjoy, particularly if you like fresh ideas around innovation, personal success, entrepreneurship, business success, and/or education. If you are interested, please contact me using the form below.
I work closely with many individuals and companies to help them figure out the best way to leverage their innovations and develop their businesses. I do most of that work through a company I founded called Lumenyst.
I am a graduate of Brigham Young University with a bachelors of science and received my masters and Ph.D. in biomedical engineering at the University of Michigan.
I believe that each of us can make the world better for us and for those around us, one step at a time down a path we intentionally create. What step are you taking today? Let me know.
